Our Vehicle Preparation Process

At Car Hub Birmingham, transparency is important to us - which is why we're happy to explain exactly how we prepare our vehicles before handing them over to our customers.

Unlike many dealers, we do not purchase vehicles from auctions. Instead, we carefully source our cars through trusted platforms such as Motorway, allowing us to deal directly with the previous owner before making any purchase.

Before we buy any vehicle, we carry out a thorough appraisal process which includes:

• A full visual inspection
• A road test
• Comprehensive diagnostic checks

This ensures we only select vehicles that meet our standards.

Once the vehicle arrives with us, it is professionally cleaned and prepared for photography and online advertisement presentation.

When a deposit is placed on a vehicle, we then begin our full pre-delivery preparation process. Regardless of the vehicle's service history, every car receives:

• A full service
• A brand-new MOT 
• A comprehensive 129-point inspection

We also carry out extensive mechanical checks, including inspection of:

• Cambelts (where applicable)
• Clutch performance
• Injectors
• General engine and mechanical components
